The Kingsmead School follow the Gatsby careers benchmarks. These are predominately used as a robust framework for developing career guidance in schools and colleges. The Kingsmead School recognise that effective careers guidance is the catalyst to securing futures.
As a school, we aim to support and guide our young people to fully understand the world of work and the never ending possibilities out there, to make the most of our young people’s skills to create long lasting careers.
The compass tool helps us as an organisation to audit our process in meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks, this is reviewed regularly to meet the 8 Gatsby benchmarks that our careers provision aims to meet.
