Toyota Apprenticeship – 2022

The Kingsmead School who are in partnership with the Derbyshire based car manufacturer have been supporting the students by offering work experience opportunities, careers talks and Toyota tours around the factory to encourage and inspire the students to apply to STEM industries.

STEM stands for: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education.

Each student successfully completed first stage interviews. All 10 students were offered a 2^nd interview, during the 1^st week in April. This consisted of competency based questions lasting for 30 -45 minutes, including time for  questions at the end of interview.   Students have a three week wait to hear if they have been successful.

It has been quite a stressful time for some students however, they have all conducted themselves well and really took full advantage of the Toyota Production Scheme. Well done!!
